Phil Scorer, conservator, rope-access specialist and part-time Lecturer at Weymouth College, made it into the public eye last month scaling Salisbury Cathedral spire.  As part of his conservation practice he prides himself in experimenting with the latest technologies to facilitate non-invasive and efficient ways of repairing and monitoring the date of old buildings.

We currently have an apprentice from Salisbury Cathedral pursuing the Level 3. His work is very clean which has no doubt made him an ideal candidate to join the 8 or so banker masons that work at their Works Dept. He follows in the footsteps of Lee Andrews, the head mason who manages the current round of projects and once studied at Weymouth College.
